Last week I visited the Oast House in Manchester with friends for lunch, this is one of my favourite bars in Manchester, it was built in 2011 as a temporary pop up bar however after enjoying huge success it has stayed. (Thank goodness)

It is an odd tin roofed building built in the Avenue Courtyard, Manchester, surrounded by high rise buildings. It is such an odd sight the first time you come across it. In fact a friend of mine asked me where I was taking her to in disgust when she saw it for the first time.
But once inside it is the coolest bar/restaurant the decor is quirky and the atmosphere is buzzing. I always order the burger with seasoned fries you can order it medium, and it is so tasty. The menu is rustic but trendy offering deli boards, hanging kebabs and steaks.

Drinks in Manchester would not be the same for me without a visit to the Oast house, the atmosphere is everything a city centre bar should be.
