What We Loved About Disneyland Paris At Halloween

Last year we visited Disneyland Paris. I must say we visited with trepidation, as we love Disney World Florida. However decided to give Paris a try. So here is what is great about Disneyland Paris.

We stayed at Disney's New York Hotel. The location of the Hotel was excellent, you stepped out of the hotel and you were at the top of Disney Village and just a short stroll from the Disney Parks. This was great at the end of a busy day as 5 minutes and you were in the hotel and able to chill with a nice glass of wine.

The hotel staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. As it was Halloween the Hotel was all trimmed up. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, breakfast was spread over several restaurants to make the experience more intimate, and it worked. We never once felt rushed; we were able to enjoy breakfast at our leisure. As the staff knew Jack suffered from Type 1 Diabetes they were happy for us to take away a snack in case he went low in the parks.

Super Break Family Travel Writer 2014

Recently I wrote a review about Disney Land Paris and submitted it to the SuperBreak Travel Writer 2014 competition. I really didn't think I stood a chance.  But decided it would be great experience. I knew I would be up against some heavyweight travel bloggers. Anyhow I wrote my review and submitted it with my fingers crossed.

And then, much to my amazement, last Friday when I checked the SuperBreak Blog.  Not only had I been short listed for the grand final, to become the SuperBreak travel writer 2014. I had been awarded the title of SuperBreak Family Travel Writer 2014. Wow what an honour I can't describe how excited I was when I read it on the Internet. In fact I screamed (not my usual behaviour) it frightened the living daylights out of the boys.

It means so much, travel is my passion in life, all I think about is  travel and holidays. To the point that at times I drive Chris mad. Thank you SuperBreak for short listing me and awarding me with this amazing runners up title. And Congratulations to Natasha Daniels the overall winner and SuperBreak Travel Writer 2014
