Toby's Dog Tale.

Yesterday 100 Happy Days post motivated me to write Toby's story today. We have had Toby for 14 months now. We got our first dog Edward just before we got married 20 years ago, he was our baby. I treated him like child, he even slept on the end of our bed. When he died at 17 we were devastated and vowed we would never put ourselves through that hurt again of loosing a pet.

Then 2 years ago our good friends the Valance family came to stay for new year and brought their dog Yoda.  Clearly I love them all coming to stay we have been friends for many years, however they had never brought Yoda before. I loved him being here, and it hit home how much we had missed having a dog as part of our family. 

Day 2, 100 Happy Days

Today I chose Toby my Dog, he is 2 years old, I have had a busy and stressful (But good) week so far at work. I walked in tonight and he was so happy to see me he made me smile. I love the fact that pets never want anything from you, and never argue back. I look forward to our daily walks. And when life around me is chaos he makes me feel calm.
