I was talking to a friend last week and mentioned I was going to Cheshire Oaks this week, and she couldn't understand why! She thought it was a bargain bin type of an outlet village. This really surprised me as many people I know visit regularly and love it. She seemed to have this misconception it was more of a jumble sale type place.
So I thought I would write a piece about the bargains we got there and the general smartness of it. Cheshire Oaks is very much a designer outlet village; yes much of the stock is past season or discontinued, but definitely not all of it.
It is set in a huge heart shape of very smart walkways, it feels modern and airy. Yet most of it is covered, to prevent you getting wet should it rain.
We Shopped in Many shops as Chris rarely goes shopping so wanted to kit himself out for a while, all of the items we bought were two third's if not half of the retail price, huge bargains especially when you have lots to buy.
For Example
Ted Baker Shirt cost £52.00, retail price £82.00
Superdry T Shirt Cost £13.79, retail price £22.99
Ralph Lauren T Shirt Cost £37.50 retail price £75.00
Cheshire Oaks has the most fantastic offers on, all of the time. It is great for all tastes, ages and budgets and makes designer clothes much more affordable, which is fab as this means you can buy more. We had a great kid free shopping day, so, no arguments, constant breaks, cries of I am bored, or hungry.
I can't believe how much quicker and easier it is to shop when you can think clearly, are not having to referee and watch Joe for wandering off. It was bliss.
I can't wait to kid free shop again, it is the way forward. As much as I love the boys they only like shopping for themselves, they are very selfish shoppers.
