I thought I would share the recipe for a quick and easy Healthy Chicken Curry we made this week. I have really missed chicken curry whilst being on my calf diet. Then I came across these Knorr Curry Flavour pots. They are great and come in little 8g pots that only have 0.8 grams of fat. Perfect for making healthy curries. Chris made this last week, and I recreated it this week, to check the great taste was not a fluke. It really is delicious.
You will need;
2 Chicken Breasts
Chopped Onion
Garlic
75g Natural Fat Free Yoghurt
Half tsp tandoori Powder
Half tsp ground cumin
Half tsp ground coriander
1.5 tsp tomatoes purée
Salt
Pepper
- Fry the Chicken and onions and garlic until they are golden brown.
- Add the tandoori Powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, tomatoes purée, salt, Pepper and curry flavour pot into 250 ml of boiling water and stir until dissolved.
- Then transfer this to pan with the chicken and simmer down until reduced.
- When it is ready to serve, stir in the Yogurt for a few minutes and then serve with rice.
It tastes great we really enjoyed it, It is so simple to make, and low fat too.
