PizzaExpress Stratford Upon Avon

Last week we decided to go to PizzaExpress for dinner, it's an easy choice, as the Boys love it. We had been to this one before and had enjoyed a great experience. As it was a hot day we requested to sit in the outside courtyard. It is so pretty with a canopy of leaves over your head. The staff were very obliging and found us seats immediately.

We were offered drinks, which came quickly. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We ordered the Anti-pasta for starters and the boys had dough balls.  

For main I had Caesar Salad, my meal was great, however it was the smallest portion I have ever received in PizzaExpress, this leaves me thinking maybe they are downsizing their portions, as I also had to send Joe's child portion of pasta back as there was hardly any pasta on the plate. The staff dealt with this in a very pleasant and apologetic manner, quickly, and efficiently. 

Jack was the only one who ordered pudding and enjoyed it immensely, to say he is a diabetic he has a real sweet tooth.  

Overall the staffs were very helpful and pleasant. The service was great and speedy. We chose pizza express, as when we are away from home it is a brand we can trust, however I just felt the main meal portions were smaller than usual.

 This hasn't put us off though it's great to be able to visit somewhere that you know you can generally get a consistent standard of service and food.
