My Current Make-Up Bag Heroes

I thought I would share a little post on what I am loving in my make-up bag at the moment. If you are anything like me I am a total make-up magpie and just love make-up shopping. Being in the make up department in a large store is my idea of heaven. In fact I could spend hours testing perfume and choosing make-up. So here is what I currently love.

1         Mac Mineralize in Medium Dark, this is a light bronzer that although it has colour does not sit heavy on the skin. I have tried others but this is by far my favourite.

2         Clinique Even Better foundation, this is my favourite foundation ever. I tried it for the first time last year and have never looked back. It is great as it achieves a good coverage and makes the skin look healthy yet not over heavy with foundation. I find my make up sits on it really well.

3         Clinique Blush Powder, Aglow, this is a new addition and a product I came access accidentally as it was in a recent bonus time collection. I have always used pink blusher, yet I love this peachy colour and looks so much better on my skin it gives me a healthy glow yet isn't harsh looking.

4         YSL Touche Eclat, Now this is my desert island product. I actually panic if I run out, I have been using this for many years it is just great for lightening under the eyes.

5         Another Newby and I love, love, love it. I have always used eye pencils. This is due to an incident when I was 18 with a liquid liner that left me looking like a giant panda. I never quite got over it. However lately I have really struggled as my eyeliner was transferring to my eyelids, this resulted in me whiping it off and ending up with no eye makeup at all on. So I visited the lovely Ladies at J.T Lloyds who recommended I use the Clinique Brush On Cream Liner in True Black. I must say I was skeptical and terrified of revisiting the panda incident at this stage in my life. But the lovely lady persuaded me to give it a try. I am so glad she did, it is wonderful. Stays on all day, doesn't smudge of spread and looks great on.

6        Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Kissyfit. I love lip-gloss but it rarely stays on, this one does. It looks fab on its own or over the top of a stronger lipstick for more impact.

7        This is another Bonus Time Freebie that I will buy forever its Clinique  Almost Lipstick I think the shade is Black Honey its lovely on its own or under a gloss. I would never have chosen to buy this, so it just shows, you should always be open to try new things.

8        Last but not least Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara and again I love it, it makes my non existent eye lashes noticeable and trust me I have tried loads of mascaras but this is the best so far.

So there you have it; my make-up bag heroes I am always on the look out for new products to try, and I just love what I am using at the moment.
