Pendle Pub Walk

I thought I would share some pictures from the Pub Walk we took part in on Saturday in aid of Pendleside Hospice.

The walk was organised by the Rotary Club, with all proceeds going to the Hospice and Rotary Charity. It is the first year Chris and I have taken part, but the sixth year the event has run. I must say it is a very slick, organized, outfit and a very easy process. We were lucky that Ruth registered us all online and then all the forms and instructions were sent through the post, with the t-shirts being available up to a week before the walk.

I will say the neck on my t-shirt felt far to tight, initially I was not going to wear it, but Ruth, Victoria and Louise persuaded me to try to customise it. I borrowed some scissors from the bar in the Bay Horse in Roughlee and we cut out the neck creating a little off the shoulder number, Ruth decided to do the same and we loved the look of our customised t-shirts.

100 Happy Days, Day 82, Pendle Pub Walk

Today Chris and I are doing the Pendle Pub walk with our good friends Ruth, Darren, Victoria and Steve.  It is for the Pendleside Hospice, which is a very worthy cause.  It consists of a 13-mile walk stopping at pubs along the way, so diet out of the window today, but hopefully I will walk the wine off. I thought I would post a picture of en-route for todays 100 day Happy, as although it may kill me, it is for a worthy cause.
